The Ensemble have an extensive lighter repertoire

As well as performing serious recitals, the trio and quartet play at functions, for weddings, conferences, promotions etc incorporating a lighter approach for the listeners. The musicians are of the highest caliber both in the classical and the light music world. They offer an extensive repertoire from Baroque to film music, opera to musicals. They play regularly at well known venues such as the Cardiff Castle, The National Museum, St David’s Hotel, Park Hotel, St Pierre, the Vale, and St Mellons Country Club.

Choosing the right music for your event is as important as choosing the right musicians! We can help you on both counts to help create the perfect ambience, be it a classical recital, a wedding breakfast or the opening on a new business. With many years experience we are willing and able to help, preparing tailor-made arrangements of special tunes when requested!

Our flexibility enables us to provide a String Trio for venues where space is limited or if your budget doesn't stretch to a full Quartet and piano trio if you would prefer more upbeat music.

The quartet is regularly asked to accompany another performer during a wedding ceremony or hymns during a church service. We are more than happy to do this as long as we are given the music in advance or are given enough time to arrange the parts.
